  2. Whisk together in a small bowl:
  3.       4 ounces soft fresh goat cheese, at room temperature
  4.       1/4 cup buttermilk
  5.       2 teaspoons white wine vinegar
  6.       1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  7.       1 teaspoon minced fresh thyme
  8.       1 teaspoon minced fresh parsley
  9.       Pinch of grated lemon zest
  10.       Salt and ground black pepper to taste
  11. Thin, if necessary, with additional:
  12.       Buttermilk or water
  13. Taste and adjust the seasonings. Use immediately or cover and refrigerate.
